Disability Services and Access Information

Unity offers the following accommodations to our guests with disabilities.

We are honored to have you as our guest and will do everything we can to make your festival experience an enjoyable time with your family and friends!

Parking and Shuttles:

Accessible parking is available fairly close to the venue, on a paved, level parking area that allows for safe access in and out of vehicles. The fee is the same ($10) as for other parking areas.

A Free Shuttle service is provided from the Accessible Parking area directly to the Festival Entrance area! Any person with a disability and their escort or spouse and children may ride the Shuttle. Shuttles operate all day during festival operations and at closing until all guests have been transported to their vehicles.

Accessible Bathrooms:

Several Accessible portable restroom units are located throughout the festival site. Please alert any of our volunteers if you find a restroom in need of attention or supplies.

2024 Policy Updates:

With input from Disability Network West Michigan, Unity updated some policies to better serve all of our guests. Unity 2024 will continue to have a Disability Concierge who will be in the concert field at all times to assist our guests with any issues they encounter (look for the Usher in the Blue Vest). Our Reserved Seating area remains eliminated to greatly increase the Wheelchair friendly seating along the first sidewalk. (Please be aware that Wheelchair seating is limited to you, children you are responsible for and one other companion, so that we have enough space to seat all wheelchair users).

One other important change that occurred was the elimination of Early Entry; this particular policy, while well-intended, did not accomplish our goal of improving the festival experience and did not enhance the access or enjoyment of the event for our guests. Gates will open at 4 pm on Wed, August 7th and at 1 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 8-10.

If you have questions about ANY of our policies or need a specific accommodation, please send us your information using this form (submitted before Monday, August 4th): A festival staff member will reply and help you receive the needed assistance if at all possible. See you at Unity!

Please address any questions or concerns on site to our Disability Concierge (wearing a blue vest). Anyone on our staff will be able to connect you with this helper.

“We will do our best to provide any and all accommodations necessary for people with disabilities to fully participate in Unity Christian Music Festival, but we ask that you please provide notice at least 48 hours in advance of the festival.”

Let us know how we can help:

To help us accommodate your needs as best as we can, we graciously ask for all accommodation requests be to us by 4PM- Monday, August 4th.
