While we appreciate the many, many contacts and the great time and effort that goes into music ministry, we are extremely limited in our capacity to properly consider and assess all of the submissions that come our way. In addition, the actual number of stage “slots” available in any given year is very small, so it is our practice to, in most cases, only book acts that are signed to a nationally known record label and have professional representation for booking.
In the rare cases where a regional act appears on one of our stages, it is typically referred to us from within the industry. Due to the incredible amount of time involved we no longer have a “talent search” or other forum for local or non-signed bands to play at the festival. Our volunteer staff simply needs to focus on putting together an amazing experience for the thousands of attendees we hope to have each year.
