Few artists embody the intersection of faith, family, and purpose-driven artistry quite like Sean Rodriguez. A next-generation pastor-turned-singer-songwriter, Sean and his young family took a leap of faith in 2022, leaving behind the familiar landscapes of Colorado to plant new roots in Nashville, TN. The calling? To create Christ-centered music that not only inspires but ignites hope in the hearts of today’s generations as they journey toward God.

“I want this music and its message to encourage as many families as possible right now,” Sean shares earnestly. “But even more than that, it’s our prayer that the seeds planted today will lead to incredible growth tomorrow. How incredible is it to think that God could use music to play a part in someone’s greater story?”

That vision is resonating powerfully. Sean’s late 2024 single, "It Is Finished" (feat. Disciple), has spent ten non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the CMW Rock Chart, while the title track of his WieRok Records album debut Jesus Will EP has amassed over 2M streams on Spotify and Pandora alone within its first six months of release. Compared to all of 2024, seeing Sean’s growing catalogue reach over 2.1 million streams combined on the top five global digital streaming platforms—an undeniable testament to the impact of his music and current audience expansion.

Beyond the music, Sean’s inspiration finds deep roots in his grandfather’s enduring ministry—a legacy of faith spanning over 40 years. “He’s 70 years old, but when he preaches, he sings, praises, and delivers the Word with the energy of a young man,” Sean says of Pastor William A. Rodriguez. “His obedience to God is at the very core of my faith. His leadership in my life inspires my own walk with Christ and fuels my passion for ministry.”

That legacy is beautifully honored in Sean’s track, “House of God,” (released summer 2024). The official music video, filmed at his grandfather’s Denver-area congregation, even features “Pastor Grandpa” himself. “This song is a celebration of my upbringing in the church,” Sean explains. “I grew up seeing former gang members, ex-convicts, families from every walk of life—all worshiping together. That was church for me. That shaped who I am today.”

This sense of generational impact fuels Sean’s mission. He intimately understands that faith is not just personal—it’s meant to be passed down, cultivated, and shared. With humility, he acknowledges the weight of that responsibility: “I just hope I can make both my Heavenly Father and my grandfather proud.”
