Unity Festival Grounds:  located at Heritage Landing along the beautiful Muskegon Lake Waterfront

Heritage Landing is situated at the corner of Shoreline Drive (Business 31) and 7th Street, Muskegon, Michigan.  See detailed directions below as well as details about easy and convenient parking options.

UNITY 2023 Parking Information

Parking is easy when visiting Unity Christian Music.  

We have 2 official public parking areas for Unity

  1. Mart Dock and LC Walker lots off Shoreline Drive (just north east of festival site on same road as festival site) – $10 per car, open to all, includes our Handicap Lot (see our special section for more information about handicap parking and access).
  2. Carpenter Bros. lot on Western Avenue near corner of Shoreline Drive (just west of the festival venue) – $10 guest parking

Parking in these convenient official lots make parking easy and help support the ministry of Unity.

For people interested in walking, there may be free on-street parking further from the festival site.

2023 Parking Hours

Wednesday, August 9:

  • Mart Dock, LC Walker, and  Depot  lots open at 1:00 pm

Thursday, Friday and Saturday August 10, 11 and 12:

  • Mart Dock, LC Walker and Depot lots open at 10:00 am

Unity 2022 Parking

 

From the north

Mackinaw City, Traverse City, Ludington

Take US 31 south to Muskegon to the Business 31 south. Exit on to Business 31 south. Travel south on Business 31 into downtown Muskegon and continue to follow the road to Heritage Landing.

From the south

Chicago, Indiana, Benton Harbor, South Haven

Travel east on I-94 to the I-196/US31 N exit toward Holland / Muskegon / Grand Rapids.

Continue north on I-196/US31 N until you hit the US-31 exit just south of Holland (this exit is on the left side of the road)

Merge left onto US-31 N and travel north through Holland and Grand Haven. After Grand Haven you will pass several exits (Van Wagner Road, Pontaluna Road, Sternberg Road and Hile Road). After the last exit (Hile Road) you will have an exit for Business US 31 North.

Exit to Business US 31 north and follow Business 31 north / west (Business 31 will turn into Seaway Drive). Keep on this route. Once you pass Southern Avenue you will come upon a fork in the road. Take that fork to the left (you will see a welcome to Muskegon sign and Heritage Landing will be visible as a large white tent and festival grounds to your left.

From the east

Toronto, Detroit, Lansing, Grand Rapids

Travel west on I-96 from Detroit to Lansing and then through Grand Rapids to Muskegon. At Muskegon I-96 turns into Business 31.

Keep on this route. Once you pass Southern Avenue you will come upon a fork in the road. Take that fork to the left and you will see a welcome to Muskegon sign.  Heritage Landing will be visible as a large white tent and festival grounds to your left.

From the west (by boat)

Chicago, Milwaukee or anywhere along the Lake Michigan shoreline

No mooring is allowed directly at the festival venue.  There are two options for boat mooring within a short walk of the festival site.

Additional transient slip options are available on Muskegon Lake with public transportation and bike path access to Unity Music Festival.
